Mark A Kirkley Jul 24, 08	I know the season hasn't even started. But if Smith doesn't succeed, how long will it take Arthur Blank to fire him, and who would be a better coach?
Nick Hartman Jul 29, 08	Arthur Blank will not fire Mike Smith for at least four years. He knows more than anybody that this is a daunting rebuilding task. Jim Mora had only mild success, but he stayed for four years. Blank did not fire Petrino, and I don't think he'll be hasty in blaming his massive rebuilding project on the coach anytime soon.
Mark A Kirkley Jul 30, 08	Yea, I believe Blank has learned his lesson. He has finally brought in a coach with a sound mind with 26 year of coaching experience, both in college and the pros. Read somewhere that Smith has taken ideas from all the coaches he has coached with and molded them into a coaching style to call his own. He just didn't say this is how I am coaching and nothing is going to change that. I believe coach Smith is the real deal!!!!
